Since Destin is a family vacation destination a beach house is a popular choice of vacation rental on the Emerald Coast.  When our family started coming to the Destin beaches we never considered a beach house. After a few years and taking home many great Destin memories, more and more of our family started to plan their trip down to the coast.  Once we got into a beach house we never considered going back to a condo or hotel.  With the amount of space and sleeping accommodations it actually may be more cost effective (cheaper) to plan your next trip to Destin in a beach house.  In Destin the homes vary greatly.  You can find a small two bedroom that sleeps 6-8 just off the beach or you can search for the  beach front home of your dreams with room for up to 20 or so of your  friends and family.  Our family has stayed in a variety of homes on the Emerald Coast.  We could type for days offering great examples and reviews from actual beach homes we have vacationed in.    That is not the idea of this site.  Our goal is to show you how to find the Destin Vacation Deals!

Now most people would think that by cutting out the middle man (Vacation Rental Companies) you will indeed get the most value for your money.  We have found that may not always be the case.

The second method for searching for Cheap Destin Houses is going through a Destin Vacation Rental Company.  This site is about saving money.  So why are we telling you to go through a vacation rental company?  That is because they have the inventory and selection you are looking for.  The vacation companies in the area have one job.  That job is to fill their inventory.  Let's take buying milk as a quick metaphor. When you want to buy milk, do you go directly to the farm, deal with the farmers and cows, fill up your own jug, and head home?  No, you go to Wal-Mart or a major retail store.  They are pros of selling milk.
